One of the primary obligations of the original "Oslo Accords" was that both Israelis and Palestinians would actively educate their populations to respect and desire peace with one another.

Israel certainly has not been perfect in that regard, but Israeli schools do teach peace and even encourage students to see the Palestinian point of view, while Israeli society in general angrily rejects outbursts of hostility toward the Palestinians.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Authority has introduced efforts to educate its young people to view Israel's Jews as blood-thirsty usurpers, and regularly honors Palestinians who sacrifice their own lives to murder Jewish men, women and children.
