EMBASSY MOVE: ‘THIS IS A HISTORIC MOMENT’: Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed a special waiver on Wed. 28 March 2018, permitting the USA State Department to upgrade a facility designated to serve as America’s interim embassy in Israel. The move comes after diplomats from both countries expressed concern that plans by the USA to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to the Israeli capital in time for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Israel on 14 May 2018 were jeopardized by bureaucratic red-tape. Kahlon issued the waiver permitting the USA to upgrade its consular facility in the Arnona neighborhood of Jerusalem to an embassy. “I’m happy and proud to use my authority as Finance Minister of the State of Israel to sign this order permitting President Trump to fulfill his promise to move the USA embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem,” said Kahlon. “This is a historic moment we have awaited for many years. This order is now signed after a great deal of work carried out in a short period of time.” (Arutz-7)

ISRAELI MINISTERS PRAISE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN BOLTON: Two ministers from Israel’s right-wing Jewish Home party and another from the ruling Likud party congratulated former USA ambassador to the UN John Bolton on 23 March, 2018 for his appointment as USA President Donald Trump’s new national security adviser. Education Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted that it was a “great appointment” and that Bolton, considered a foreign policy hawk who is opposed to the Iran nuclear deal, was a “stalwart friend of Israel.” Environment Minister Ze’ev Elkin of Likud said Bolton was not unknown to Israel. “He has been, unquestionably, a friend of Israel for many years, including in his position as USA ambassador to the UN. I have no doubt it will be comfortable for us to work with him.” (Times of Israel)

ISRAEL PREPARING FOR WAR ON SIX FRONTS: Last week at the graduation ceremony for new Israeli naval officers, IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Gen. Aviv Kochavi said that the Jewish state was preparing for war on no fewer than six fronts. Kochavi did not list those fronts, except to say that Iran is among them. The others can be guessed at: Egyptian Sinai, where ISIS holds sway; Hamas-ruled Gaza; Lebanon; Syria; and the cyber realm. Of course, many of those other threats are being encouraged and even financed by Iran. Last week, Israel launched massive war drills together with 2,500 visiting American soldiers. As part of those drills, air raid sirens sounded throughout the country on 13 March 2018, unfortunately frightening those who were unaware it was just an exercise. (Israel Today)

-Intercede for the safety and continued preparedness of Israel to triumph over its enemies on all fronts. Pray also according to scripture that the nations “who delight in war” will be scattered. Psalm 68:302

TRUMP TO NETANYAHU: "IF EUROPE WON’T FIX IRAN DEAL, USA WILL NIX AGREEMENT” The Trump administration has vowed to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal if European allies refuse to agree to major modifications to the agreement, according to a report Sunday night 11 March, 2018. According to the report, USA President Trump told PM Netanyahu during their meeting last week that the changes the Europeans had proposed to the 2015 agreement were "cosmetic" in nature and not substantive, and were therefore unacceptable. Trump has signaled that he will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal if substantive changes are not made to the agreement. The deal has been criticized for failing to address Iran's ballistic weapons program and for including 'sunset clauses' under which many of the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program would expire, and for failing to create an adequate inspection regime to assess Iran's compliance with the agreement. “FIX THE IRAN DEAL OR CANCEL IT”: Israel’s PM Netanyahu on Tues. 6 March 2018, held a series of meetings on Capitol Hill following his speech at the AIPAC Policy Conference. The prime minister met with leaders including Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer. Later, Netanyahu met with members of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. He also met with House Speaker Paul Ryan and with members of the leadership of the House of Representatives from both parties. Netanyahu told the lawmakers, "This place represents the American people, the great friends of the people of Israel, who give thanks to all of you." Speaker Ryan responded, “In the name of the bipartisan leadership here in the House of Representatives, we welcome you, Prime Minister, you are a great friend and a great ally, we are very excited by the ongoing dialogue between us." The prime minister described Iran's aggression in the region and its attempts to establish a military base in Syria, and noted Israel's determined position to prevent it. Netanyahu also presented the dangers in the Iranian nuclear deal and said that there was a need to fully correct the failures of the agreement or to cancel it. (Arutz-7)

--Iranian sources claimed this week that Iran has tripled its production of missiles. Please continue to intercede for global astuteness and divinely conscripted strategies to come into play that will avert and dismantle the threat Iran is to Israel and the nations. Iran has missiles capable of striking Israel on the other side of the region. But far more dangerous is Iran's effort to establish missile bases in neighboring Syria. With this increased missile production and a firm military foothold in Israel's war-torn neighbor, the Iranian threat to the Jewish state has grown exponentially.

IRAN LAUNCHES FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE ISRAEL’S 'IMMINENT COLLAPSE’: The Islamic Republic of Iran is gearing up for its first ever “International Hourglass Festival”, celebrating what organizers call the “imminent collapse” of the Jewish state. The symbol chosen to represent the event features an hourglass with a Star of David disintegrating above the words “25 Years” – an apparent reference to the predictions made by Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in 2016 and reiterated by Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi in 2017. Organizers announced that the festival would be held in Tehran in April 2018. Some 2,400 anti-Israel NGOS around the world have agreed to promote the event globally. The festival not only targets Israel, but also the USA over its support of Israel, and even the Saudi government. (INN)
