Is it a move of God or a demonic deception? Examine the origins, progress and underlying erroneous doctrines of the phenomenon. From Toronto and Brownsville to Lakeland. From C. Peter Wagner, to Rick Warren, from Todd Bentley to TBN, their deception makes black appear white, obscures reality, enshrines absurdities and causes people to look for God in all the wrong places.

What too many people do not seem to realize is that uncontrollable laughter and animal noises may be new to the church world, but the occult has known such phenomena for years and years. In Biblical accounts when people have fallen, [some call it slain in the spirit], sinners fell backward, followers of Jesus fell forward in surrender and worship.

TBN expects everyone to accept their authority and teachings without question, criticism or testing, using the Bible only if it suits their purposes.
People are often deceived into thinking big TV evangelists are true believers because much is said ‘in the name of Jesus’, but even a cursory examination reveals that most of what is being said is not biblically sound - no matter how convincing or enthusiastic the speaker. There is very little, if any, preaching about the cross, sin, repentance or judgment that would melt a sinners heart and turn them to God.

Why don't Christians know better.?. Why do they show little or no discernment when it comes to blatant heresies.?.

Christians are instructed to reject those who preach a false gospel because they are condemned by the LORD. And those who follow false prophets will share in their judgment. 2 John 1:10
