As Frederick the Great said, "No nation ever persecuted the Jew and prospered." Hitler tried to destroy the Jews of Germany and also Germany. Pharaoh tried, Amalek tried, Sibon, king of the Amorites, Og, King of Bashan, tried and perished. The Assyrian Empire, the Babylonian Empire tried and passed off the stage of human history, and the eternal Jew lives on.

Jew-haters never learn anything from history. Jeremiah (30 :15), like all the Old Testament prophets, was supernaturally exact when he said,

"All they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey."

Anti-Semitism is futile because it is fighting against God. The most obvious lesson to be learned from four thousand years of human history is that the Jewish people are indestructible. They are now more numerous than ever before, and they will continue to exist in the future, both according to many Old Testament promises, and according to the Word of God - "Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."

Very few Christians ever stop to think what Christ's word "until" implies. He predicted the destruction of Jerusalem, the religious and political capital of the Jewish nation, and He said Jerusalem would be "trodden down until" the end of Gentile domination of world affairs. Then Jerusalem will become again the religious and political capital of the Jewish nation, and of the world.

In view of the awful suffering of Jews for two thousand years largely because of their disbelief and rejection of the Messiah, how shall  Gentile Christians escape if they too ignore those large sections of the New Testament which speak of His second coming in power and glory "on the clouds," taking vengeance on them that obey not the gospel?  Gentiles who have any religion at all should take warning from Israel. They try to attain salvation through good works. They try to become just before God through their own efforts. Their whole history proves to the world that this is impossible; and yet this is the vain attempt not only of all heathen religions of the world ancient or modem, but also of many of the most intellectual and "modern" clergymen in the United States, [I'm a good person...]

"Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord." Jeremiah 9:23-24

Whether Jew of Gentile, all are "saved by grace."

Since the Jew is God's promised channel of blessing to the world,  what then is anti-Semitism?

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal instructed the terror group's sleeper cells in the West Bank to prepare themselves for armed struggle to take control of the Palestinian territory, The Sunday Times reported.

According to the report, citing the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Aman military intelligence service, Hamas, at the behest of Iran, was preparing to seize power in the West Bank as it did in Gaza in a 2007 civil war.

"The LORD's voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth will shake. But the LORD will be a refuge for his people, a strong fortress for the people of Israel". Joel 3:16

Pressure from the local community is forcing the hands of the Bethlehem municipality to immediately take down a large Christmas billboard sign that has Jesus on it.

"In the birthplace of Christianity, we have seen over the years that the Christmas holiday has been reduced to snowmen and bells," said Pastor Steven Khoury of Holy Land Missions, the ministry behind putting the 1200 square foot sign up. He added, "The essential message of the holiday season has been taken away for fear of what the dominant religious factors [aka Muslims] in Bethlehem would say".

Vandals cut the electric cable surrounding the sign to ensure that it would not be lit up during the night, and the print shop hired to print and hang the billboard has been bombarded with harassment. Barraged with phone calls from the local community, the municipality informed Pastor Khoury that many are campaigning asking them to take down the sign. "Jesus and His message have been lost in the city that God chose for His Son to come into this world"

The billboard sign, located at Manger Square' main street entrance reads:

"Jesus born to die and rose again. Invite him into your heart so you might live - Merry Christmas."

Ironic isn't it.??.

Even after 2,000 years it appears there is still no room for Jesus in Bethlehem.

Scoffers ungodly people and scoffers have taken over this "Church" in New Zealand.
St. Matthew-in-the-City, Auckland, New Zealand
--- described on their home page as a progressive Anglican church.

Their argument - Jesus might have been gay....

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.  Romans 1

"A thought for Christmas...

"If Jesus and mother Mary were alive today, they would, as Jews without security, probably end up being lynched in Bethlehem by hostile Palestinians. Just a thought..."

It is arguable if such an idea is correct or not, but the fact is that many people in Europe and in America have forgotten the Jewish background of Jesus and his earthly family.

Everywhere you go in Europe, you are constantly confronted with two Jews - Jesus hanging on a cross and Mary with a baby in her arms. In restaurants, bars, and of course churches, there they are. And yet, a majority of Europeans no longer remembers that these two iconic figures are part of the Jewish people.

A year ago when Palestinians put on a provocative performance depicting Joseph, Mary and Jesus in front of an Israeli checkpoint near Bethlehem, nobody made a fuss about that. But the truth is that the family of Jesus is neither Palestinian nor Gentile...

...they are Jewish.

A 'true' statesman ---

Israeli leaders on Sunday spoke on behalf of an empathetic nation when they told the people of America that Israel feels their pain following last week's massacre of 26 school children and their teachers.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent the following message to President Barack Obama, the grieving families and all Americans:

"The people of Israel grieve with you. When we see these horrible sights of slain children, young boys and girls whose life is nipped in the bud in such cruel acts of savagery, I can tell you from my own experience that we understand the pain and agony. We feel we’re one family with you, and I can only pray that God will give you the strength, as he’s given us, to overcome the tragedy and go on living."

"Never Again," they say, and yet even in 2012 Jews must be warned not to openly identify themselves as Jews in certain places for fear of a violent response to their ethnicity.

Such was the case in Denmark this week, where Israeli Ambassador Arthur Avnon warned visiting Israelis not to wear their skullcaps (kippot) in public, to hide any Star of David jewelry and to refrain from conversing loudly in Hebrew.

Local Jewish leaders confirmed that it has become increasingly dangerous to be seen as a Jew, and hinted that the problem stems from the growing Muslim influence in the city.

A woman Border Guard sergeant stationed in Hebron shot dead a Palestinian whom she saw attacking a soldier under her command at a post near the Patriarchs Tomb Wednesday. The Palestinian knocked the soldier over and held what looked like a pistol to his head, whereupon the soldier’s female comrade shot the assailant dead. The investigation which followed found the gun was a metal dummy.

She later explained in a radio interview that she had split seconds to act in what was obviously a death-threatening situation for one of her subordinates and she acted as she was trained to do.

Palestinian websites ran the sergeant’s photo over the caption Arabic: “Wanted for international justice. We are asking her to be tried as a murderess at the Hague international court.”

Israel was locked in heated and worried debate over videos and photographs showing Israeli soldiers fleeing before a stone-throwing mob of Palestinian Arabs.

The incident occurred in the Samarian ("West Bank") village of Kfar Qaddum last Friday, when locals staged a weekly riot against the nearby presence of Israel's security fence.

Typically, the soldiers will engage and arrest those who use violence. But some of the soldiers involved said their commander was frightened by the presence of foreign media cameramen and the inaccurate way they would portray any act of self defense on the part of the IDF troops.

So, the soldiers were ordered to run away, and the Palestinian media hailed the confrontation as a major victory.

Hanuka [some spell it Hanukkah, others Chanukkah] this year begins December 8th and is celebrated for eight days.

Hanuka celebrates the mighty deliverance of God through the Maccabees, who fought against an evil Syrian king called Antiochus IV Epiphanes. He wanted all the Jews to walk in Hellenistic culture and to worship the Greek gods and goddesses. He murdered the Jewish people who wouldn’t. Anyone who kept the Sabbath or circumcision or had Scriptures in their possession was sentenced to death.

Outnumbered by trained armies, the priests and people of Judah, under Judah Maccabee, fought and won battle after battle, due to their faith in God. They were able to re-take possession of the Temple and cleanse it from the idol statue of the Syrian king Antiochus IV. He had erected a statue of Zeus with his face in on it and wanted everyone to worship him as Zeus incarnate, hence the title Epiphanes (God appears or manifests). The Jewish people called him Epimanes (the madman), a play on Epiphanes.

There is a biblical reason why Hanuka lasts for eight days. When Moses consecrated Aaron and his sons for the priesthood, and the Tabernacle was initially dedicated for service, there’s an eight day period (Lev. 8–9). Seven days were the days of consecration and dedication of the priests and the Tabernacle, and the eighth day was the first day of official service. This was what was on the minds of the Torah observant Maccabees and the reason for the eight days because the word ‘hanuka’ means ‘dedication.’ As such, Hanuka becomes for us an eight day period of re-dedication of ourselves (the temple of God; 1st Cor. 3:16-17; 6:19) to God the Father in the name of His Son, Messiah Yeshua, asking Him to cleanse us of our idols, that we might be fully consecrated and dedicated to Him!

Hanuka is a holiday commemorating a time when Yahveh moved mightily for the salvation of His Jewish people. It’s a real historical event.

The major theme of Hanuka is our re-dedicating ourselves to Yeshua, to His purpose for our lives. In this we see the cleansing of the Temple in the days of the Maccabees as an apt picture for what Yeshua wants to do with us, the temple of the Living God (1st Cor. 3:16). With Yeshua declaring at Hanuka, in the Temple in Jerusalem that day, that He was the visible manifestation of the Living God, Yeshua was authenticating Hanuka for all of us and our children.

Israel has responded to international condemnation over its earlier approval of more Jewish apartments in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria by announcing that an additional 1,600 housing units will now be constructed.

In addition to the 3,000 units, Israel will now add another 1,600 apartments to the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, which was at the center of a previous major dispute between Israel and the US over Israel's right to build anywhere in its own capital. While the Palestinian motion at the UN was a clear violation of its signed agreements with the Jewish state, Israel's punitive approval of more Jewish housing in areas claimed by the Palestinians is not prohibited by those same documents.

Following Israel's decision to build new Jewish housing in response to the Palestinian statehood bid, Chicago Mayor and former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel [a Jew] launched a serious of vicious verbal attacks against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. First Emanuel called Netanyahu's behavior "unfathomable," then he accused the Israeli leader of repeatedly "betraying" Obama.

There is growing concern in Israel that Obama, via Emanuel, will attempt to influence Israel's upcoming election in order to oust Netanyahu from office. While that is a long-shot, the White House could succeed in making it nearly impossible for Netanyahu to form a stable coalition following the election.

Israel's government on Sunday voted to officially reject last week's UN General Assembly vote recognizing "Palestine" as a sovereign state, and took several punitive measures such as withholding tax revenues and approving more Jewish "settlement" housing.

The resolution passed by the Israeli cabinet insisted that despite what a majority of the UN member states say, the Jews have a legal and historic claim in Judea and Samaria, and those territories will remain disputed.

"The Jewish people have natural, historical and legal rights to its homeland with its eternal capital Jerusalem," the resolution stated. "The State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people has rights and claims to areas that are under dispute in the land of Israel."

"No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,  On those who hope in His mercy...." Psalm 33:16-18

A court ruling penalizing the Israeli Messianic village of Yad Hashmonah for refusing to host a lesbian wedding has severely damaged the community's main source of income, but has also opened the door to be an even greater witness to the Israeli public.

"Our business is suffering badly. We are firing people and cutting every expense possible." But that's not the end of the story.

At the same time,  "God is really using this!"  Since the court decision, and the initial negative press coverage it spawned, spokeswoman Ayelet Ronen  has been interviewed by three newspapers, two radio programs, and Israel's leading morning TV news show.

"I have been flooded with calls from people wanting to know more about the situation, asking about our faith and offering moral support." This
new wave of positive coverage has afforded Ronen numerous opportunities to witness directly to Israelis.

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you."
- Psalm 122:6

Woe to me that I dwell in Meshek, that I live among the tents of Kedar!
Too long have I lived  among those who hate peace. I am for peace;
but when I speak, they are for war Psalm 120:5-7
Such is modern Israel’s plight, that she is situated in the world’s worst, most implacably bitter neighborhood, the middle east. “Meshek” - a son of Japheth whose descendents eventually settled in the Caucasus area, is slated to lead a confederation of Moslem nations against Israel.
Kedar is a son of Ishmael, one of the forefathers of the Arab nations. Like their father Ishmael, of whom God said he would be a “Wild Ass of a man”, who would be at war with everybody, including his brothers, Kedar is currently for war, though Israel wants peace.
The ‘ everlasting hatred’ is coming to a head. The events leading up to the last intervention of God Almighty to this earth are centered around this Israel hatred. This is why the Psalmist cries out to God to consider the trouble inflicted upon Israel by it.
But Israel’s prayer to God shall be answered for she will not always be surrounded by such hate filled and painfully deceived neighbors who seek her destruction even as she seeks peace -
And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD. Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God. Ezekiel 28:24-26

At an interfaith conference bringing together Jewish leaders and Protestant Christian pastors outside Jerusalem, several Christian representatives painted a very worrying picture about the future of relations between Israel and the mainstream Church. While an estimated tens of millions of individual Christians around the world love and support the Jewish state, many of the mainline Protestant churches have been actively boycotting Israel, encouraging pro-Palestinian activism and demanding that Western governments stop sending aid to Jerusalem.

One of the main Christian representatives at the conference was Rev. Paul Wilkinson, associate minister at Hazel Grove Full Gospel Church in Stockport, England. Over the past few years, Wilkinson has studied up close the phenomenon of what he calls "Christian Palestinianism," a politicized movement that seeks to eliminate Christian support for Israel and transfer it to Palestinian nationalists. Wilkinson said he is "completely pessimistic in terms of believing that I/we, are going to overturn 2,000 years of erroneous theology that has manifested itself in all kinds of diatribes and anti-Semitic factions" within the Church.

Wilkinson said that what stands behind Christian Palestinianism is classic Replacement Theology, which he called a "Goliath of theology in the church."  Rev. Andrew Love of the United Church of Canada agreed with Wilkinson that exaggerated humanitarian concern for the Palestinian Christians is being as the "rationalization for ultimately what I believe to be anti-Semitic ideas and anti-Semitic policies." Wilkinson lamented that this hatred for Israel, which harks back to millennia of hatred for the Jews, is rooted "deep in the heart of the Protestant Church," and is unlikely to be uprooted.

(Netanya, Israel, November 16, 2012) -- It is just after midnight on Friday morning here in Israel. To put it bluntly: Thursday was a very difficult day for Israelis in the south and Palestinians living in Gaza.

Consider this: the Palestinians have fired nearly 700 rockets, missiles and mortars over the past 36 hours. The Israelis have bombed more than 70 terrorist sites in Gaza in just the past hour. Tonight, the big news here is that the terrorists have fired missiles at Tel Aviv, Israel's biggest and most populated city. Air raid sirens have been going off. People are anxious. This is the first time Tel Aviv has been the target of missile attacks since the Gulf War with Saddam Hussein in 1991. What's more, three Israelis were killed in a direct rocket strike earlier today, and 54 have been wounded. Now the IDF is calling up 30,000 reserve soldiers to prepare for what could be a massive ground invasion.

Rabbi Richard Marker, Vice Chair of International Jewish Committee on Irreligious Consultation says since Vatican Two, the Catholic Church has renounced anti-semitism and the two faiths have matured in their dialogue.

He believes Jewish-Muslim relations could be transformed if the same model of dialogue with Catholics is used with Muslims. He stated:

“Forty years in the histories of two great world religions is but a blink of an eye, but 40 years of a relationship is a sign of its maturity. The focus of the world is no longer specifically on Jewish- Christian amity. We must, for so many reasons, involve the third of our Abrahamic siblings… Islam.”

If Islam is able to pressure the state of Israel to give up their military control over the Mountains in Zion, there will be no army in the world who will be capable of defending the “lesser Israel.”

Then the Jewish  people will have been pushed back behind the so-called “Auswich lines.” The Jewish people will finally have been gathered inside a huge concentration camp, ready for the last bid of genocide.

"You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.” Exodus 23:32-33

Israel’s deteriorating security situation has erupted simultaneously on two fronts. The IDF fired a Tamuz precision guided missile at a Syrian mortar position as a warning after a stray mortar hit an Israel Golan defense post. It was the fourth incident in 10 days.

On the Gaza front, the Palestinians shot Grad missiles at Beersheba – one was intercepted by Iron Dome – after shooting 60 missiles in less than 24 hours. They injured four Israeli soldiers Saturday, four civilians Sunday – apparent victims of Katyushas supplied by Hizballah.

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.'" Psalm 91:1-2

Monday, November 12, 2012

In last few days more than 100 rockets have been fired from Gaza into the South of Israel. The recent clash began when a Jeep of Israeli soldiers was doing a routine patrol on the Israeli side of the border. An RPG from Gaza was shot directly at the Jeep. Several soldiers were injured, including a young man who is seriously injured and may be blind for the rest of his life. This began a fire fight on the border between the terrorists of Gaza and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

Just the day before, the IDF had discovered more tunnels that are being used by Hamas to smuggle weapons and additional terrorists in and out of Egypt. Due to the open border between Gaza and Egypt, and backed by the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, the terrorist organizations including Hamas have smuggled in and are firing Katyusha rockets that are both more sophisticated and have a larger range than the smaller Qassam rockets used in previous incursions.

Three mortar shells fired by Syrian forces landed near and in the Golan Heights community of Alonei Habashan this week.

Syrian shells hit town in northern Israel

One shell landed in a local neighborhood, but caused no injuries or damage.
Officials said they believe the shells were misfires from a battle between Syrian government and rebel forces just over the border.

The frequency of cross-border attacks lately, and the growing accuracy, suggests the Syrians may be purposely targeting Israel.

My times are in thy hand.” — Psalm 31:15

Barack Hussein Obama has won re-election as President of the United States, according to all the projections of the Nov. 6 vote - albeit ahead of the final count of ballots. The prospect of another four years of Obama in the White House fills some Middle East nations, including the Persian Gulf and Israel, with trepidation.

They envisage a foreign policy that continues to focus on hitching US influence in the Muslim world – Sunni and Shiite alike – on to a wagon led by Iran as the first Islamic Shite Muslim nuclear power and the sponsorship of Muslim Brotherhood rule of Sunni Arab nations.

For Israel, this policy translates bleakly into American backing for the two most forbidding ideological foes it has faced in all its 63 years: Iran, whose leaders call openly for Israel’s extinction - even from the UN platform – although this is achievable only by nuclear aggression; and the hostile Muslim Brotherhood.

There is nothing left to chance.!!.

According to the UK daily The Guardian, US military commanders have warned their Israeli counterparts that any action against Iran would severely limit the ability of American forces in the region.

Israel has been told that an Israeli strike would severely limit the US ability to mount their own operations against the Iranian nuclear program by cutting off vital logistical support from Gulf Arab allies. [Iranian born Valarie Jarrett, advisor to President Obama with long term connections inside the Islamic Republic traveled to Iran in October reaching an agreement that calls for Iran to halt part of its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of many of the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic regime].

Of importance to note is that the US 5th fleet in not placed in the Persian Gulf to promote freedom and democracy nor is it in place to bring justice to the Iranian people.

Make no mistake - the US Naval forces are in Bahrein to secure the US supplies of crude oil and gasoline.

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri last week called on Egyptians to complete their Islamic revolution, make a full break with the West, and wage "jihad to liberate Palestine."

Zawahiri urged Egyptians to kidnap citizens of the countries that wage wars against Muslims,  to renew demonstrations against the Israeli Embassy in Cairo and to oppose all efforts at normalizing ties between the two countries.

Jews around the world are being forced to continually look over their shoulder:

Case in point...

...two men [reportedly in their 40s] assaulted and threatened a 12-year-old Jewish boy waiting at a bus stop in Paris. The men hit the boy repeatedly with a belt and hurled insults at him in Arabic.

A day later, a Hungarian mob burned an Israeli flag in front of a synagogue in Budapest. The inflammatory and threatening act was perpetrated by Hungarian ultra-nationalists.

But anti-semitism is hardly confined to Europe:

this week, a Nazi swastika was found spray-painted in an elevator in a Jewish neighborhood in New York City. Police viewed the incident as part of an ongoing campaign of anti-Jewish vandalism. In the most serious incident to date, police found the following threat spray-painted in a New York subway:

"The world would be much better off if all the Jews were lampshades."

“I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.

“...if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. ... But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

“...And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?" Luke 6:27-41

At the gathering of the United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, the world body is scheduled to vote on three Arab resolutions proposed by Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and Syria. All three resolutions charged Israel with abuse of local Arab populations and Muslim-claimed territories.

Most prominent was the resolution submitted by Jordan accusing Israel of trying to "change the character of Jerusalem" and blasting the prospect of allowing Jews to pray atop the Temple Mount.

All three Arab entities were surprised when Russia insisted that a vote on the resolutions be postponed for at least six months, and that instead a fact-finding mission be sent to Jerusalem to determine if the Jordanian accusations are accurate.

Sounds good on the surface, until one steps back and ask WHY.???.

The Obama Administration once again has reiterated its position that Jews must not be allowed to build and live on their ancient biblical heartland for the sake of peace in the region.

Speaking before the UN Security Council, US Ambassador Susan Rice stated that the White House "does not accept the legitimacy of Israeli settlement activity, and will continue to oppose any efforts to legalize [Jewish] outposts."

Though technically the territories of Judea and Samaria are disputed, the US and other Western powers set no such limits on the Arab population's rampant construction.

Rice went on to suggest that the Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria, which the world calls "the West Bank," is a detriment to the international community's plan to solve the conflict by birthing a Palestinian Arab state.

Some Israelis [and true believers across the globe] are concerned that an Obama win in the upcoming US presidential election will result in significantly increased pressure on Israel to meet Arab demands.

Hizballah’s Hassan Nasrallah admitted the drone that flew over Israel last week had come from Lebanon, promising it would not be the last.

Whether Al Qaeda, Iran, Syria or Hizballah - all appear to be a player to be reckoned with.  Attacks may explicitly target American interests or stir the pot by going for Israel, Turkey, Jordan, or a Gulf oil nation.

It can no longer be denied that Tehran is already on a cyber offensive against them all.

Fifteen leaders of U.S. churches and other faith-based organizations have asked Congress to reevaluate U.S. military aid to Israel.

"As Christian leaders in the United States, it is our moral responsibility to question the continuation of unconditional U.S. financial assistance to the government of Israel. Realizing a just and lasting peace will require this accountability, as continued U.S. military assistance to Israel — offered without conditions or accountability — will only serve to sustain the status quo and Israel’s military occupation of the Palestinian territories,” the letter was signed by leaders of the Lutheran, Methodist, UCC churches, and the National Council of Churches.

The Pope received a royal welcome in Hezb”Allah controlled Lebanon, hailing the leadership of the Islamic rulers.

This weekend, the Pope visited Lebanon. This is what Jerusalem Post has recorded from the Pope’s visit:

"Christianity and Islam have lived together in Lebanon for centuries, he said, sometimes within one family. “If this is possible within the same family, why should it not be possible at the level of the whole of society?"
”Lebanon is called, now more than ever, to be an example,” he said, inviting his audience “to testify with courage, in season and out of season, wherever you find yourselves, that God wants peace, that God entrusts peace to us.”
Lebanon – torn apart by a 1975-1990 sectarian civil war – is a religious mosaic of over four million people whose Muslim majority includes Sunnis, Shi’ites and Alawites. Christians, about one-third of the population, are divided into more than a dozen churches, six of them linked to the Roman Catholic Church.

The Israeli ambassador presented the pope with a gold plated dove with the inscription: “The man of peace is granted the symbol of peace.”

Millions living in Israel will be deceived into accepting the antichrist. Pressured from all sides, the majority of Jews will accept a compromise for the sake of “peace”.

The powers of wickedness are already at work.

"This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ [the promised Messiah -- as revealed in His Word and by His Spirit] as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.."

Iran: We just need an excuse to destroy Israel

Baiting Israel to launch a preemptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, the representative of the Islamic Republic's "supreme leader" to one of its most secretive military forces stated this week that Iran is now just waiting for the right excuse to destroy the Jewish state.

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness.... Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!" Isaiah 5:20-21

Will basic physics be enough to lift the veil from the eyes of the blind?

Thursday, September 27, 2012

" But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness". Galatians 5:22

"... I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.

My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God’s truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter.

In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross.

As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice… And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people."
-Adolf Hitler, in a speech on 12 April 1922

“We have already received phone calls from many more homosexual groups and couples saying they want to get married here”.
I have visited Yad Hashmona. It is a beautiful Messianic Jewish village just outside the center of Jerusalem.

Nestled in the hills outside of Jerusalem is a Messianic communal village where some 150 Israeli believers live, work and provide a “living testimony” of faith in Yeshua.

But that identity has often come at a price, and recently the village of Yad Hashmonah was sued and ordered to pay damages after it refused to host a lesbian wedding at its beautifully constructed event hall and biblical gardens.

"We have already received phone calls from many more homosexual groups and couples saying they want to get married here. To avoid another legal problem, for now, we simply cannot book anything at all at our guesthouse and event center."

It is very painful to see the downfall of Zion. But this is yet another proof that there is no other way for Jews to be saved, but to accept Yeshua as their Messiah and LORD.

The temple's holy place, the place where the Shekinah glory of God dwelt,  where the high priest met once each year with God on behalf of the people has been destroyed.   But now we can come boldly to the throne of grace -where our Advocate - Yeshua our Messiah prays and intercedes for us.

Pray for the Muslim and the Israeli who do not yet know their Saviour and Advocate - Yeshua the Messiah.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu conveyed Israel's condolences to the United States over the murders of four consular staff members at the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, noting that no nation knows better than Israel what it is like to deal with such brutal acts of terror.

"The people of Israel grieve with the American people; we send our condolences to the families," said Netanyahu. "If there's any people in the world that understands what Americans are going through, what they went through in 9/11, it's the people of Israel, who've been standing at the forefront of the battle against terrorism, who've lost loved ones and who deeply, deeply sympathize with the people of America at this time."

As we hear of wars and rumors of wars, remember The Words of our L-RD:
"Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.…
"...in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." Zechariah 12:2-3, 9-10

Once again, Islam, the "peaceful" religion, closes schools in Israel and forces school children to huddle in shelters:

Two more grad rockets from Gaza has led authorities in Israel to cancel school in Beersheba.

Yet another message of “peace and love” from the Hamas in Gaza.
Matthew 24:19-21
How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

Turkish army officers have assumed direct command of the first two Syrian rebel brigades fighting Bashar Assad’s government forces, according to debkafile’s exclusive sources. This step has sent military tensions rocketing on Israel’s northern borders with Syria and Lebanon in case of a backlash.
The rebel North Liberators Brigade in the Idlib region of northern Syria and the Tawhid Brigade fighting in the Al-Bab area northeast of Aleppo are now taking their operational orders from Turkish officers, who exercise their authority from headquarters outside Syria in the southeastern Turkish city of Gaziantep. Nonetheless, Turkey is considered to have stepped directly into the Syrian conflict marking the onset of foreign intervention.
Western and Arab military circles in the Middle East expect Turkey to extend its command to additional rebel units – not all of them part of the Free Syrian Army.
This first step has already caused waves.

The consequences of Turkish military action in Syria were urgently aired with CIA Director David Petraeus when he arrived in Ankara Monday, Sept.

debkafile’s intelligence sources reveal. After hearing how and when Ankara proposed to expand its role in the Syrian conflict, Petraeus discussed with Turkish military and intelligence chiefs the likely Syrian, Iranian and Hizballah responses.

He then flew to Israel to continue the discussion there.

By then, US, Turkish and Israeli intelligence watchers were reporting unusual military movements in Syria and on Hizballah turf in southern Lebanon – suspected of being preparations for a blowback from the Turkish intervention in Syria.

The IDF countered by placing its units guarding the Syrian and Lebanese borders on a state of alert. Wednesday, Sept. 5, an Iron Dome battery was installed in Gush Dan to head off a potential Hizballah missile barrage on central Israel and its hub, Tel Aviv.

Later that day, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan commented: "The regime in Syria has now become a terrorist state."

Only a few of Erdogan's listeners understood he was laying international legal grounding for expanding Turkish military intervention in Syria.

debkafile's military sources report that Thursday, Sept. 6, military temperatures remained high-to-feverish along Syria's borders with Turkey and Israel, and along Lebanon's borders with Syria and Israel.

DEBKAfile: Iran should have enough 20-percent enriched uranium for a bomb by next month [October] ~ yet;

Israeli officials claim relations between Israel and Washington have reached an unprecedented low over the two nations' differing views regarding the urgency of the Iran nuclear threat.

According to the sources cited, coordination between American and Israeli security forces has been reduced, while the New York Times reports US President Barack Obama is looking at a number of new policies aimed at preventing Israel from taking unilateral action against Iran's nuclear facilities.

Richard Land says:

"America's support for Israel is a matter of blessing for America.

Whether or not we support Israel and their right to exist in the land, God is going to take care of Israel. If the U.S. doesn't support Israel, Israel will still be there because Israel has a more powerful ally than the United States of America -- the Lion of Judah, God Almighty.

It is America that will suffer."

Iran continues to demobilize and frighten the Jewish state with its war rhetoric. But behind the words hides an ongoing nuclear weapons program. The message is clear. If Israel does not abolish Zionism, Iran might use whatever measures necessary to help the Jews to surrender.

One of the primary obligations of the original "Oslo Accords" was that both Israelis and Palestinians would actively educate their populations to respect and desire peace with one another.

Israel certainly has not been perfect in that regard, but Israeli schools do teach peace and even encourage students to see the Palestinian point of view, while Israeli society in general angrily rejects outbursts of hostility toward the Palestinians.

On the other hand, the Palestinian Authority has introduced efforts to educate its young people to view Israel's Jews as blood-thirsty usurpers, and regularly honors Palestinians who sacrifice their own lives to murder Jewish men, women and children.

President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu have bandied thousands of words in their dispute over an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear sites. For a time, their argument muffled the abiding ambition of the Islamic Republic to destroy Israel - come what may.

However, the message roared by Iranian leaders over last weekend - before and after Al Quds Day - was quite simply this: Israel must be destroyed, irrespective of whether or not it attacks the Islamic Republic

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was cheered by half a million demonstrators in Tehran shouting: Death to Israel! Death to America! when he declared Israel is a "cancerous tumor" that will soon be finished off in the new Middle East. He called “the Zionist regime’s existence an insult to all humanity.”

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said: “The fake Zionist (regime) will disappear from the landscape of geography,”

And although both were severely rebuked by world leaders for their violent invective, it continued to pour out of Tehran in a comment by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force Chief, Brig. Gen. Amir Hajizadeh who said an Israeli attack would be welcome “as a pretext to get rid of Israel for good."

Israel’s new Home Defense Minister Avi Dichter laid it out in plain language: While Syria, Lebanon and Gaza confront Israel with a strategic threat, Iran imperils our very existence.”

Certain Western intelligence sources were reminded of a speech by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in 2006 when he quoted a Holocaust survivor as saying: “My main lesson from the Holocaust is that if someone tells you he is going to exterminate you, believe him. And I add to that. Believe him and stop him!”

Six years later, those sources now suggest, after America’s top soldier Gen. Martin Dempsey offered the opinion that Israel can no longer destroy Iran’s nuclear weapon capacity – only delay it , that Netanyahu may be willing to go further: Not only to stop them, but kill them.
They are quietly using the term “decapitation.”

They point to the Israeli Mossad’s long record of targeted covert operations for dealing with past and would-be annihilators: In the fifties, the Mossad captured the Nazi criminal Adolf Eichmann in Operational Finale.

In the seventies, Golda Meir ordered Operation Wrath of God to hunt down and pick off one by one the Palestinian Black September murderers of 11 Israeli sportsmen at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

In February 2008, Iran’s senior terrorist operations commander, Hizballah’s Imad Mughniyeh, was liquidated in Damascus, so ending a bloody career of assassinations, terrorism and abductions against US and other Western targets as well as Israel.

Hizballah’s chief Hassan Nasrallah knows the score: He has spent six years hunkered down in a fortified bunker, taking care never to broadcast his inflammatory speeches calling for Israel’s destruction live, only by video.
It cannot be ruled out that this point, Israel may decide to disable Iran’s nuclear program by going for its leaders.

"The Zionist regime is a cancerous tumor," Ahmadinejad told millions who took to the streets of Tehran to mark Iran's Quds Day, an angry commemoration of Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem.

The Iranian leader continued:

"Even if one cell of them is left in one inch of (Palestinian) land, in the future this story (of Israel’s existence) will repeat. The nations of the region will soon finish off the usurper Zionists in the Palestinian land...

A new Middle East will definitely be formed."
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord." As Muslims continue to threaten Jerusalem with extension - one need question the "holiness" of the Temple Mount to Islam.

If Jerusalem were targeted with a nuclear bomb, also the Temple Mount and the Mosques in “al-Quds” would be in line of the intended destruction.

New intelligence information obtained by Israel and four Western countries indicates that Iran has made greater progress on developing components for its nuclear weapons program than the West had previously realized.

The WCC has said: We shall worship 'god' in liberated Jerusalem.

He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his fathers he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts." Daniel 11:31-38

Syria's civil war is spiralling out of control, and is now threatening to drag Israel into open conflict with its northern neighbor after rebel forces captured a border town just a little too close to Israeli towns and military installations.

Some 500 Syrian military forces have crossed the demilitarized zone near the border with Israel in the Golan Heights.

The possibility of the conflict spilling over the border is growing by the day, especially as Syrian rebel forces receive increased political and even material support from the international community.

Many senseless people in the west call for a boycott of Israel.

Even those who claim to be Christians.

A report, dated July 02, 2012 states:   'Since the 2001 NGO Forum at the UN’s Durban Conference, boycotts, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) aimed at Israel have developed as a key issue in mainline Christian denominations in the United States, Europe, Canada, and elsewhere.

A number of European governments, plus the United States and Canada provide funds for these church-based efforts to delegitimize Israel. These tax-payer funds are disbursed as grants to church-based humanitarian NGOs, which then transfer these funds to highly politicized pro-Palestinian NGOs, including Christian groups that promote the one-state solution and, in many cases, antisemitic supercessionist, or replacement, theologies within mainline churches worldwide.'

On one of Israel's largest websites  a yellow banner with large letters appeared proclaiming the coming of the Messiah.

"The Messiah is in Israel. This will be the last government of Israel." A click on the banner leads directly to the website 871. Here, the religious creators of the site warn about the end of the world. “The next leader will be the Messiah Ben David. The situation in the country is getting worse and the government will become more incapable.

Only the Messiah can save Israel."

True - but will they recognize the true Messiah or accept another?

Eugenio Pacelli, later Pope Pius XII, signs the “Reichskonkordat” with the national socialist government under Adolf Hitler on July 20, 1933.

Achbishop Eugenio Pacelli was the Vatican’s representative in Berlin from 1920 onwards. He became Pope in 1939.

The Vatican  has now chosen to canonize Hitler's Pope. It appears that, following a long diplomatic dispute with the Vatican, the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem has given in to pressure and will tone down its account of Pope Pius XII’s conduct toward the massacre of Jews during  World War II.

Dubbed, Hitlers Pope, Pius XII signed a deal with Nazi-Germany. The Roman Catholic’s would close down their political parties, and join the Nazi-party. In exchange, the Pope received Hitlers blessing to run Catholic institutions without interference from the totalitarian regime.

The new text, headlined, “The Vatican,” retains the criticism, but it adds his supporters’ position that Pius’ silence in condemning the murder of Jews was not a moral failure but a tactic that prevented harsher measures against church institutions, enabling church officials to carry out secret rescue missions.

For years, Yad Vashem has urged the Vatican to open its wartime archives to historians, but Vatican representatives say "that is years away."

Mussolini and Hitler. Two stern faced man came to the reque of the Pope of Rome.
Mussolini and Hitler. Two stern faced Kings came to the rescue of the Pope of Rome. Hitler made his own peace deal with the Vatican in 1933.

The brown shirts brought back Roman Catholicism as the state religion in Italy. The Fascists and the Pope had common interests and aspirations, and were well suited for each other. If the Fascists were able to gain World control by political and military powers, the winners would make the Pope in Rome the religious head of the World.

They were not successful, but there will come one who will succeed ~~

Hamas revelation shows why Palestinian state is a bad idea

The new leader of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, who is himself an Egyptian, has called for the cancellation of the Egypt-Israeli Peace Treaty.

He is encouraging Egypt to end its peace treaty with Israel, to establish Islamic rule, and to "stop Jerusalem from turning into a Jewish city."

He also praises militants in the Sinai desert who have fourteen times blown up the pipeline carrying gas to Israel.

"...the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." John 1:5

Ivar reminds us:

Arab Palestinian statehood is an Islamic fiction, a political ploy. The true motive behind the political rhetoric of an Islamic statehood in the district of Judea and Samaria is the total destruction of the Jewish homeland.

From 1948 to 1967, Egypt was occupying Gaza, Syria had control over the Golan Hights, and the kingdom of Jordan had annexed the so-called West Bank, and was occupying East Jerusalem.

When the PLO was formed in 1964 what land was the Islamic force controlled by Yasser Arafat going to liberate? Was the PLO formed to liberate land already controlled by the Arabs?

It is obvious to everyone with eyes to see and ears to hear that the PLO was formed to achieve the final and total destruction of the state of Israel.

The Satanic inspired struggle goes on.

If Israel does not surrender all the lands liberated in the Six Day War of 1967, set up an Arab state with Jerusalem as its capital, and make significant concessions in accepting as citizens descendants of Arabs who fled Israel in 1948, a third intifada should, and must be conducted.

The call for a new “uprising of the people” against Israel was part of a the summation statement issued at the end of the two day Palestinian Revolutionary Council (PRC) general meeting held this week.

The meeting was led by Palestinian Authority chief and Fatah party head Mahmoud Abbas.

"God, who made the world and everything in it... is Lord of heaven and earth.... He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times. ...

Russia reinserted itself into the Israeli-Palestinian "peace" process in a major way this week with a highly publicized visit by President Vladimir Putin.

While meeting with Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday, Putin said that Russia had no problem recognizing an independnet Palestinian state, noting that Moscow had already done so during the days of the Soviet Union. "We [recognized Palestine] 25 years ago, and our position has not changed."

Earlier in the week, Putin met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres, at which time Putin warned Israel against a preemptive strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, insisting that such an endeavor would "backfire." He also urged the West, presumably including Israel, to keep its nose out of Syria's affairs.

It would appear the sleeping bear is no longer asleep.

It's official: the Muslim Brotherhood has taken control of Egypt, or will do so in the very near future.

To the consternation of many throughout the region, Egypt's election commission on Sunday announced that Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Morsi would be the next president of the largest and most powerful Arab state.

"An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers; and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares the Lord God of hosts. And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched, ..."  Isaiah 19:1-25

Encouraged by apparent Muslim Brotherhood win in Egyptian election, Hamas and allied terror groups have escalated the bombardment of southern
Israel.

Unfortunately, the world, especially mainstream media, simply is not interested in the bombardment of Jewish population centers until either a large number of Israelis are hurt or killed, or Israeli reprisals result in large Palestinian casualties.

“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Daniel 12:1

Palestinian terrorists operating out of the Gaza Strip fired more than 50 rockets and mortar shells into southern Israel on Tuesday and into Monday morning.

Eleven border policemen were wounded in one of the attacks. The attacks began during the pre-dawn hours Tuesday, and continued with a hail of rocket fire throughout the day.

The only casualties reported were from a direct missile strike on a building near the coastal town of Ashkelon, where 11 officers with Israel's Border Police suffered light-to-moderate shrapnel injuries.

The assault continued on Wednesday morning with more short-range Kassam rocket attacks and at least one medium-range Grad missile attack that targeted the town of Beersheva.

Rumors within the Islamic world report that the Pope is ready to accept Israeli law on Catholic Church properties in East Jerusalem.

Palestinian officials voiced concern about possible concessions by the Vatican ahead of talks on Tuesday between Israel and the Holy See on the status of Catholic Church property in Jerusalem, while others wondered:

What is the Vatican going to get in exchange for a recognition of Israeli laws in East Jerusalem?

Could it be the acknowledgement of a special regime to be established in the Old city?

Muslim Brotherhood eyes Jerusalem as Egyptians choose next president
Having already won control of the Egyptian parliament, and with a good chance of putting their man in the president's chair as Egyptians go to the polls later this week, the Muslim Brotherhood is now turning its gaze on Israel.

Secular presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq warned last week that if his Muslim Brotherhood opponent, Mohammed Mursi, wins the run-off presidential vote giving the Islamists unfettered control in Egypt, conflict with Israel will be inevitable.

A prominent Egyptian cleric with ties to the Brotherhood added to those fears last week when he told a large rally that should Mursi win the election, Egypt's capital will no longer be Cairo...

it will be Jerusalem.

"On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves." Zechariah 12:3

"The biblical land of Israel is actually the land of your forefathers" Pope Benedict told the Palestinian Arabs in Bethlehem.

At the start, in the middle, and at the end of his visit – which was hosted by the State of Israel at no small expense to the taxpayers and mass disruption of Jerusalemites’ lives – the head of the Roman Catholic Church voiced his strong support for the creation of a Palestinian state on Jewish lands.

Speaking at PLO Chief and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ palace in Bethlehem, where he went to conduct a large mass, the pontiff spelled it out:

"The Holy See supports the right of your people to a sovereign Palestinian homeland in the land of your forefathers, secure and at peace with its neighbors, within internationally recognized borders."

Israelis wondered how the head of a so-called Christian Church could have so wholeheartedly swallowed the Bible-refuting lies.

A mother' son:

An Israeli soldier was killed in a shootout with a Palestinian terrorist infiltrator from Gaza Friday morning, sparking a fierce exchange that threatened to plunge the Hamas-ruled coastal strip and southern Israel into another round of widespread violence.

Early Friday morning, a team of Israeli soldiers responded to an alert that the Gaza perimeter fence had been breached. Upon arriving at the site of the breach, they were engaged by a lone Palestinian gunman, who managed to mortally wound one of the Israeli soldiers before himself being killed.

The felled Israeli soldier was identified as 21-year-old St.-Sgt. Netanel Moshiashvili.

Denmark took first place in the ranking, whereas the United States came in twelfth.

Israelis are also among the world's healthiest people, with the sixth longest life expectancy due to lower obesity rates, decreased infant mortality, and higher cancer survival rates. Despite the continual threat from Israel’s neighbors, 70% of Israelis feel safe walking home at night. (Ynet News)

But in America walking home at night is not a good plan.

Pray that God would continue to bless His people in the Promised Land.
Pray also that the church in America will wake up, stand up, repent and return to the L-RD while there is still time.

Ali Ramezan, a former Iranian soldier who today proudly supports both Israel and America from his home in Manchester, England.

Ramezan was a member of Iran's revolutionary forces, and fought in the Iran-Iraq War. But some years later he was caught observing an anti-government rally, and was tortured by his own government for his "crime."

After that incident, Ramezan apparently began to wonder whether or not he was fighting for the right side. Forced to leave his wife and child behind, Ramezan fled Iran in 1999 and took up residence in the UK as an asylum-seeker.

Ramezan sees those of his family and friends who regularly join in chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" as having been "brainwashed." He is not the first Iranian or Arab to have come to a realization in recent years that Israel is not the evil entity that people across this region are taught.

In his Jerusalem Day speech on Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared emphatically that he will never divide Jerusalem, a key Palestinian peace demand.

"There are those who believe that if we only divide Jerusalem, and that means giving up the Temple Mount, they believe we will have peace. I am doubtful, to say the least, that if we deposit that square of the Temple Mount with other forces, that we won’t quickly deteriorate to a religious sectarian war," said Netanyahu.

"Israel without Jerusalem is like a body without a heart. And our heart will never be divided again," Netanyahu promised. "A nation willing to sacrifice its heart will convince its enemies that it is willing to give up on everything."

I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls." Joel 2:30-32

A Hebrew University archeologist says finds at a new dig site near Jerusalem are backing up the biblical narrative of an Israelite kingdom centered on Jerusalem in 1000 BC, around the time of King David and his son, King Solomon. Professor Yosef Garfinkel has been digging at Khirbet Qeiyafa near the Jerusalem suburb of Beit Shemesh since 2007.

Carbon dating of unearthed olive pits has put the period of activity at Khirbet Qeiyafa at 1020 BC - 980 BC, almost exactly the period of time the Bible says David and Solomon were active in the region. The dating, together with the uniqueness of the finds, has made Khirbet Qeiyafa one of the most important biblical archeological digs.

Thus says the Lord God: "This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her." Ezekiel 5:5
